S1E31 - The Second Church Age - TS Wright

The End of the First Church Age – TS Wright   Scott Wright, or “TS Wright” as he’s known by, is the author and presenter of the “God Centered Concept Series.” This series is focused on connecting to God through discipleship. He does this by helping us understand the processed that God’s Word readily gives us in order to draw closer to him. He has also published a journal called, “God Centered Concept Journal: Making God’s Word My Ways.”   Scott has a goal of launching this series on a large scale, reaching churches and organizations with this curriculum that will change their churches from simple institutions into a “movement.” Amen!   He is also a podcaster and has a truly great podcast called, “The God Centered Concept,” as well. You really need to listen – and subscribe – to this podcast… it’s amazing…   But he is also a HUGE student of end time scenarios dealing with the Book of the Revelation, the End of Days and the Seven Ages of the Church. I have asked him to come on the program today as we continue a series of interviews discussing the Church Ages.   Last time, we shared about the “The First Church Age.” If you missed that interview, go back to the archives of the “Revelation Warning Podcast” and listen to Episode number 29.     Today, we are going back to the Book of the  Revelation, Chapter Two, as Scott Wright will be sharing about the “End of the First Church Age” and the beginnings of the Second. Amen!   Help me welcome to the program, Thomas Scott Wright – or TS Wright!  Scott, it’s a blessing to have you on the program today.   You’ve been on our podcast before, but for our listening audience who many have not heard your earlier interview, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is TS Wright?”   First of all, catch us up on your “God Centered Concept Series.”  Explain what it is you are trying to do with this series…   Ok, last time, as I mentioned, we covered the First Church Age. Without covering too much of what we already covered, catch us up with a synopsis of First Church Age for those who may not have heard our prior interview…   Now, we are going to look at the END of the First Church Age… Basically, you share that it represents the end of the Jewish influence over Christianity.    What is the purpose for the 2nd Church Age?   Explain the “Edict of Milan” for us…   So the 2nd Church Age just did not affect Israel – it affected the all the known world at that time?   By persecuting the Christians, it caused them to flee into other parts of the known world – and taking the “Good News” with them, correct?   You mentioned the collection of writings that became known as “The New Testament,” was started at this time. Why did they settle on the writings we have and not include some of the more popular books that we are aware of that were not included. Some of them provide a more clear picture, in my opinion and others, they should be include – but were not. Why?   Scott, this has been fascinating. Share with us how someone can reach out to you and get more information on this?   You are about to write a new book, correct?  Share a little bit about that with us?   When do you anticipate it to be released?   What will we be talking about next time?   And your book, “God Centered Concept Journal: Making God’s Word My Ways.”   How can someone obtain a copy of your book? Is it on Amazon?   Before we close, share again about your podcast…The God Centered Concept   I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.   Folks, there is no doubt that we are living in what Jesus and historical Christian scholars have called, “The End Times.” We are working our way through each of the Church Ages in order to give you a more thorough understanding of how all this fits into what we are witnessing, right  now, all around us.

We should not be in a state of fear and trepidation. NO!  We need to be excited! We need to be thanking GOD for the day and time in which we live…   Think about like this…   In each of the Church Ages Scott Wright will be sharing with us, those people who lived in that era were BORN for a reason – IN THAT ERA… Amen!   Which means, when God laid out the history of mankind – He had you to be BORN NOW!  For a reason!  What is that reason?  To be part of ushering in the Return of King Jesus! Amen!   So I want to leave with this thought… as you witness all these things happening around us, don’t be filled with fear, but Faith. And, “Look up!
